For companies that move product to clients, it can be helpful to have quick access to summary information about their transporation network along with map visuals that show the service footprint.
I created a data visualization in Power BI that summarizes route information and displays route paths on a mapping element (see example below). The user can filter the visualization by individual or subsets of routes. Also, hovering over a route location will show location details. This is a very simple way to view a route network as it requires just a minimal amount of information. This visualization pulls from a csv file that contains route name, location ID and address, latitude/longitude, delivery sequence, ETA and quantity. Additionally, as routes change, updating the underlying data import file will automatically update the visual.
